Bio

Jonathan L. Bender was born in 1969 and grew up in South Jersey, originally in Willingboro and then Cherry Hill. He graduated in 1996 from Rutgers School of Law in Camden, where he was on the Dean's List.

Prior to law school, Jon earned his bachelor's degree from Yeshiva University in New York City, and worked at a family-owned business in South Jersey.

During his law school career, he interned for Judge Kathryn C. Ferguson of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Trenton, and later clerked at law firms in Philadelphia and New Jersey.

After law school, he worked at a Paramus firm focusing on business collections and corporate law, before forming his own practice in January 2000. Originally in Hackensack, Jon returned to his South Jersey roots when he moved back to Cherry Hill in 2005.

Throughout his legal career, Jon has focused on business collections and general business law. His clients range from large banks with seven-figure collection matters, to small and mid-sized businesses with various collections and general corporate needs. Whether dealing with institutional clients or start-up businesses, he remains focused on results and the particular needs of each client.

Jon's pre-law experience with a family business, and his years of service to his clients, have developed a keen appreciation for the client's need for efficient, cost-effective and results-oriented legal services.

Jon lives in Cherry Hill with his wife and three children.
